Supporting St. Anthony's is an investment in a child's future, and an investment in the health of our communities.

     St. Anthony of Padua School is approaching it's 50th Anniversary. At the time that St. Anthony's was built, Camden was a city bustling with jobs and recreation. Students' families were often blue collar workers who sacrificed to send their students to St. Anthony's because they believed in the importance of a strong Catholic education.

     The tradition of hard working parents making sacrifices to provide their children with quality education is still strong today. However, the bustling landscape has changed over time and St. Anthony of Padua School is now located in the 2nd poorest and most violent city in the United States. Jobs are difficult to come by, and many parents struggle working two or three jobs to make ends meet. 

    Parents choose St. Anthony’s because they believe their child deserves a safe, quality Catholic education. We strive to provide just that.

     Providing quality education comes with a cost well above what many of our families can afford. In order to fulfill our mission and to offer and excellent, affordable education to children living in Camden, our tuition is set at $1800.00. That’s almost $3600 below the actual cost of educating a child! In addition to the reduced tuition, families are eligible to apply for tuition assistance.

     While our goal is to serve the children and families in Camden by providing a safe, quality Catholic education, we rely on support from people like you.

ANNUAL FUND

The St. Anthony of Padua School Annual Fund Drive is the largest fundraising event we hold.  Every October & February we reach out to our community, parents, alumni, volunteers, and others to invite you to contribute to our Annual Fund. Annual Fund money is applied to tuition assistance, used to support our programs, and spread to enhance the education that students receive at St. Anthony of Padua School.

We're in the midst of our Annual Fund drive right now. We invite you to become One More Person to Provide Hope for our children by giving to the St. Anthony of Padua School Annual Fund 2009-2010. All gifts help to give a child hope through education.

ADOPT A CLASS

If you are looking for a more personal giving experience, we invite you to become an Adopt a Class sponsor. Each sponsor will adopt a class and will receive a photo of the class, updates about how their class is doing throughout the year, and an opportunity to come and visit their classroom. Adopt A Class sponsors range in level:

$365.00 ~That's just one dollar a day for you to support a child's education for one year.

$1800.00 ~ The cost of tuition for one child one year.

$5400.00 ~ The cost to educate one child for one year.

SPECIAL EVENTS

SAVE THE DATE!!! St. Anthony of Padua School Gala will be on May 1, 2010 at Venice Plaza. Tickets will be $85.00 per person and will include dinner, dancing, beer & wine. We'll also have our annual silent and live auctions.  Keep checking back. More details will follow soon!

St. Anthony of Padua School hosts at least one major special event each year. Individuals, businesses, and other organizations are invited to sponsor the event and to attend the event. In 2007 and 2008 we held our first two galas and were able to raise over $10,000 at each gala!
