Today, August 22, we raised the rest of our $10,000 to receive our challenge grant! We start van shopping this week! Thanks to all who helped with their donations, and their prayers.

This is St. Anthony's current van, which cannot be used or insured to carry passengers. It does a great job hauling supplies to events but not our parishioners!
Goal: Raise $10,000 to match a $10,000 donation by the end of the summer (scroll down for a weekly update on our progress!).
Why a Van?
When there are so many places to give and reasons to give and so many needs such as food, clothing, and education, you may wonder why you should give towards the purchase of a van.
A church van helps move the church. Here are just a few of the ways that having a church van allows us to participate in events and activities that achieve our mission of proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ through worship, education, care for creation, and outreach to our sisters and brothers:
~Ecumenical Advocacy Days
~Teen Week and Youth Group Trips
~Delivering food to people who are homebound
~Picking up food donations from partner organizations
~Francis House Spiritual Retreats
~The March for Life
~Encuentro
~School Extracurricular Activities
~Arts Trips for the Camden Peace Art Project
The list could go on, and on, and on. A church van is more than just a way to get from one place to another. For St. Anthony's it is a vehicle for hope and transformation in Camden, New Jersey.
How you can help? Donate now!!! Every penny counts!
